You may have heard of the show Judge Judy. A daytime TV show which broadcasts case after case of people who do things like admit their wrongdoing similar to the case above. Now, she provides great entertainment, but if you really want to learn how the judicial system works, there are some more important systems to learn about with a lot more moving parts.
So what are those moving parts? How do the courts determine whether someone is guilty or innocent? Does the Supreme Court actually do anything? Why is the Supreme Court part of the 3 branches of government? What is justice?
